You tell us about your child. We use that only to write their story. Nothing is shared with anyone. Nothing is sold.
The form fields you fill in (names, ages, themes, a few personal details), plus your email so we can send you the story.
No advertising pixels on the funnel. No third-party analytics in the story player. No selling of any data. Ever.
Email jamie@heartheirname.com and we'll delete everything. Usually same day.

Hear Their Name is operated by BuiltSmarter, based in the United Kingdom. Contact: jamie@heartheirname.com.
Primary purpose: to write and narrate a personalised audio story for your child, play it for you in your browser, and email a permanent link as a backup so you can come back to it any time.
Secondary purposes: to process optional donations via Stripe, to reply to support enquiries, and to comply with legal obligations.
We will never sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.
Your data is shared only with the processors needed to run the service:
Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) receive anonymised event data from marketing pages only. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your data. Email jamie@heartheirname.com and we'll handle any request within 30 days.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited on a need-to-know basis. Still, no system is 100% secure and we make no absolute guarantees.
Hear Their Name is for children aged roughly 2 to 14, but the service is requested by a parent or guardian. We do not collect data directly from children. A parent consents on their behalf. Children's details are used only to personalise their story and are never used for marketing or profiling.
Some processors (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Stripe, Google, Meta, TikTok) are based outside the UK. Transfers happen under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
We may update this policy. We'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, email customers who have active stories.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've breached your data rights.
